It's A Waterful Life (Art Kit & Class)

Let your inner artist explore the world of Suminagashi: Japanese for “floating ink”, is a traditional art form from the 12th century that reveals the mesmerizing, ever-changing nature of water.

Beyond art, Suminagashi is a meditation practice and mastering the art of letting go. We will also discuss our connection to nature and the Japanese concept of Wabi Sabi, which is about being present and appreciating the beauty of impermanence and fleeting moments.

With this experience, your artist will walk the group through the steps of Suminagashi. In our signature Happied style, your experience comes with our curated activations and specially trained hosts to ensure your event is “actually fun.

PRICING

• At $135 (domestic shipping and hosting included!) per person + $250 Happied Planning fee (waived for subscribers!), you receive kits and instruction to start learning alcohol inks!

• Want some ice breakers and fun games to get everyone talkin’? For $500 add a social host to your Suminagashi class and include things like ice breakers, trivia, this-or-that, and more!

• An additional $250 will be implemented for groups over 15.

BOOKING TIMELINE

This experience must be booked four weeks in advance. Requests that can be honored in under four weeks may be subject to rush fees.

DEPOSIT

To book this event or order kits, a $300 deposit is required. Please do not checkout with multiple quantities in your cart. Once you complete your deposit, one of our awesome Happied team members will reach out to you within 12 business hours to confirm all the details (number of kits and event vision/goals - if applicable). Your final invoice will include the number of kits, hosting fees (if applicable), and any other fun add-ons you would like!
